Welcome to Birth, the official online appointment system for birth certificate services provided by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Birth online appointment platform at https://birth.psaonlineappointment.com. By accessing or using this website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the site.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for an account, scheduling an appointment, or otherwise using the Birth platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions, the Privacy Policy, and the Disclaimer.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age or have parental or legal guardian consent to use this service. You affirm that all information you provide during registration and appointment scheduling is accurate, current, and complete.
3. Account Registration and Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at support@psaonlineappointment.com if you suspect unauthorized access. Birth reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts violating these terms.
4. Appointment Scheduling and Management
Appointments are subject to availability and may be rescheduled or canceled up to 24 hours before the scheduled time via your account dashboard. No-shows or late arrivals may result in cancellation of the appointment and require rebooking. Walk-in appointments are not permitted; all visits must be scheduled in advance through this platform.
5. Fees and Payments
Birth is a free appointment scheduling service. No fees are charged for booking, rescheduling, or canceling appointments. Any official PSA fees for document processing or issuance are separate and payable directly to PSA upon visit, per existing government regulations.
6. Limitation of Liability
Birth provides the platform “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation. Neither Birth nor the PSA shall be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, logos, trademarks, and software on this site are the property of the Philippine Statistics Authority or its licensors. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is strictly prohibited.
8. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting at https://birth.psaonlineappointment.com/terms-conditions. Your continued use after such updates constitutes acceptance. Last updated: March 15, 2025.
9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising from your use of Birth shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Manila, Philippines.
